I want to give it 5 stars, I really do, trust me. Vergil is my love and Vergil is my life. But, his clothes do not match him at all. He has never worn anything like this in the series ever, not even the reboot, which is the closest outfit I can think of towards this. The 3 stars goes towards the plush itself alone, which looks just like him and is very cute and soft and I love him. I would've preferred at the very least a coatless Vergil, where he only has his vest on, which is an outfit you can see in DMC3, or at the very very least, a blue jacket. The earring feels very random. Vergil has never had earrings. He can stand upright with the shoes, at least, and I think that's silly. Even worse, both Dante plushes on the site have their clothes planned in full accuracy. It just feels unfair that the same treatment couldn't go towards the older brother. Hopefully, and this is a very small piece of hope, his actual jacket will go into production later down the line and can be bought separately.

Clothes were too off for me to want to buy them and didn't fit his aesthetic, the hair can't seem to decide if it wants to be hair or felt. Incredibly stiff when posing and likes to revert back into its normal state.

Very sad his son was not funded alongside him.

I was so depressed when I saw what the clothes would look like. Especially since they only were made public after the funding was gathered and confirmed. I would rather have had it fail and get a refund than receive this low effort thing. The face is cute but that is about it. The final insult is how well designed his brother is. I would have gotten both since originally both were to be voted for but I certainly will not now. The risk is not worth it.

Usually I don't mind creative liberties on attire for characters.Yet after seeing the DMC anime Dante plush being accurate on design including minor details, I am now disappointed that the Vergil plushy's attire is lacking on any form of accuracy whatsoever. Not to mention that there is many references to his character including the fact he is well known. And I've recalled there was people in social media sharing their concerns on his clothes when the final designs were shown yet we have neither seen nor heard any changes to his attire.
