She came perfectly fine with her wife!! Her robes were easier to put on than expected and she feels so soft and firm. I love her so much I couldn’t stop crying while opening the package!!
For the most part, I do love my Qi Yan doll. She has the perfect vibe of Qi Yan from the books and is exactly what I imagined. I am even working on making her a hanfu that matches her official donghua design.
My problems with her are pretty small, but I do have a few. First of all, the bobbin thread used on the outline of her hair pieces is white, which sticks out like a sore thumb on some parts of her bangs. Still relating to the hair, the tips of her bangs are already beginning to fray in some parts, and some other portions have loose threads. My last complaint may just be a me thing, but the size of her embroidered face is quite a bit larger than her compainion doll, Jingnu. I don't know if this is pretty common for the dolls faces to not match, this is my first time ordering dolls from Plushwonderland. But it was a bit disappointing to display them together and them not look like they quite belong together. But that's all, so long as she doesn't fall apart, I'm pretty happy with her.
